This week the mood on station is interesting. There is a little anxiety in the atmosphere. We all enjoy the privlages and atmosphere of winfly. Winfly has been about getting the station up and running for the summer season, and getting the Sea Ice Runway up and running. We all know that with the arrival of the first flight of "mainbody," nearly everythnig is going to change. There will be more people, management, more lines for dinner, and a faster pace in general. Other happenings this week included a nice workcenter supper, an end of winfly town party with 2 live bands (made up of various community members). I took this photo on a night hike to Ob. Hill. The time is about 12:30am and its not going to get much darker any more.
